Natalie Woolf
Trained as a fine artist in the north of England, then after 10 years of studio design practice, moved to London and completed her PhD in the Design Products Department at the Royal College of Art, under the research title ‘Plastic: a material metaphor’. Her career progressed as a developer of smart technologies and a designer of creative solutions for Public Spaces. In the UK she worked as a Public Art Practitioner and Consultant. In 2010 a move to Lisbon, where she works professionally for a Portuguese Architectural Engineering company, joining Atelier Concorde presented the chance to revisit personal creative projects. Current explorations concern painting, photography, montage and film, follow two key themes; edges and light.
