Lior Eshel (1984, Israel) is a visual artist based in Lisbon. She holds a degree in Fine Arts and Art Education from HaMidrasha Faculty of the Arts in Israel. Her work has been exhibited in various cities, including Tel Aviv, Hamburg, and Lisbon. Working across collage, printmaking, drawing, photography, sculpture, and installation, her multidisciplinary practice is rooted in her everyday surroundings. She is drawn to the poetic ways in which objects, materials, and remnants hold memories and tell stories. Through her work, she explores themes of familiarity and strangeness, connection and distance, and the passage of time.
