Creation residency by Samira Hashemi during July 2015, concluded by a talk presenting her past and current work.

Samira Hashemi is an iranian artist living between Esfahan (IR) and San Francisco (USA). She is also a curator and educator, having graduated in Fine Art from Birmingham City University and done a Masters in New Genre at San Francisco Art Institute. Her work has been exhibited internationally in venues such as Copenhagen Contemporary Art Centre in Denmark, Disjecta Art Centre in Portland, USA, Museo de Ex-Teresa Arte Actual in Mexico City, Parramasala Media Festival in Sidney (Australia) and YATOO in South Corea. She received the prize for best video at FOKUS Video Art Festival 2014 and the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen bursary the same year.
